View SQLite With WAL Plugin
This is a self installing EnScript plugin that allows the examiner to extract and view SQLite database files using a designated external viewer application.
This script overcomes a limitation whereby the external viewer functionality of EnCase does not process write-ahead log (WAL files).
Each database file will be extracted to the current case's temporary folder together with any associated SHM and WAL files.
The script will not wait for the external application to to terminate, and so the files created in the temporary folder will need to be deleted manually.
